Installer and Migration Tool🔗
For a standalone installation of the sedex-Client on a host, the installation tool provided by sedex must be used. In addition to new installations, this tool can also be used to upgrade/migrate existing installations to the latest version.
Before you start upgrading from a previous sedex-Client version to the latest version, you should also read and understand all release notes of the intermediate releases.

Always keep the sedex-Client up to date
We recommend that you always use the latest version for new installations of sedex-Client. In addition, existing installations should regularly be updated to the latest version to ensure secure and reliable operation of the sedex-Client at all times.
Template for Silent Installations🔗
A sedex-Client can be installed using either the graphical user interface or a pre-configured response file containing all required parameters.
This method of installing one or more sedex-Clients is referred to as a “silent installation”.
The provided archive contains templates for both new installations and the migration of existing ones.
