Technical user documentation for the sedex-Client

This is the technical user documentation for the sedex-Client, a middleware software that connects business applications to the sedex platform. The sedex platform is a service provided by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) for secure data exchange within the context of eGovernment Switzerland.

Note: This documentation is aimed at technical engineers who install, operate or integrate the sedex-Client. All other information with a focus on business and governance can be found on the sedex homepage at the FSO at www.sedex.ch.

Backend IP addresses change on 2 December 2026

The IP addresses used by the sedex-Client to access the sedex backend will change.

No sedex-Client configuration change is required.
However, if your firewall, proxy, or another network component restricts outbound traffic by destination IP address, the new addresses must be allowed before the migration.
